A non-profit group to assist in the restoration, preservation and renovation of Balgonie Castle, Fife, Scotland

We are a group of people who came together to help Balgonie Castle because it is privately owned and not eligible for grant money.

Our project is to restore the ground floor old kitchen which will benefit the whole community.  The castle does not have an area to benefit peoples with disabilities and the restoration of the Old Kitchen will allow functions for the disabled in mind.

The Flute for the Old Kitchen Wood Burning Stove which will provide heat to the Old Kitchen and Chapter Hall.

The wall between the chapter hall and old kitchen is finished.

The Wood Burning Stove is in and working.

All we need is a floor.

Because of the weight, Tom has to make 4 trips to the supplier.

The slab floor is going in!

The Old Kitchen still needs pointing and white washed.  The electric, heat and floor is now in.

All the work is being done by volunteers.

Balgonie Castle has an architect, heating engineer, electrical engineers, Glasgow Paranormal Investigation, The Fellowship of the Thistle, The Christmas Fair and many friends who want to remain anonymous.
